Pretty old establishment… Movies no longer are shown in this old Colony theater. I’m surprised it”s till up. I remember when I was in highschool, next to the theater was Gerties Ice-cream Shop – Best banana splits in town.

I still remember the first time I was there too. 1971 with my mom. We too had a banana split, and yes, the best in town!
My parents owned the restaurant that is diagnally sitting across from Gerties ice shop. It closed down around 2000. It brings back serious memories seeing this photo.
